4 Ways Animals Have Been Mistreated Today

The human societies have worked so hard to put an end to animal brutality. That’s very cool for the entire animal loves around the US. They have strived to put an end to all the cruel and harsh practices that animals have been subjected to today. Here are some of these harsh practices that many people have used to mistreat animals today and which every humane society is striving to fight today as they enhance animal abuse.

Animal Laboratory Testing

Today animals end up in laboratories to be used for cosmetic testing. They suffer horrible fates including being blinded, burned, or roasted alive with chemicals for the sake of developing one brand of shampoo or any other cosmetic. Such are worst case scenarios that animals should not be allowed to go through. The EU has banned such tests, so is Israel, and India. It is a good thing the US is also in line for the same with its Humane Cosmetics Act. Such can greatly reduce on the wholesome animal cruelty and make the world a better place.

The Animals Mercy Killings

Known as animal euthanasia certain states have tried to adopt it under the pretence that they want to use it to trim the number of unclaimed animals that end up in shelters. Killing an animal as the excuse that it has not been claimed is not cool. Ideally animals have feelings too and because of that should be treated with a lot of care. There are a number of animals that have gone missing in shelter without any sorts of documentations such as rabbits, potbellied dogs, guinea, and pigs. In fact research has it that in US about 7 million dog and cats die in shelter with half the number euthanized.

Performing Surgical Procedure

Well surgical procedures can be done to animals to save their lives. But in certain places these is never the case. Late us take HORSE SORING to begin with. Farmer chop off under the horse’s feet to expose a wound so that when they run the pain makes them run faster – really? But that’s just a tip, there is also institutionalized slaughter of horses that is done annually in the US. Since horses don’t have the protection of animals’ shelters, they are often collected and later exported to Canada or Mexico for slaughter. Such are animals’ cruelty at the peak and bad enough, over 100, 000 horses pass through this annually.

Deplorable Living Conditions

Many farm animals today are being placed under gestation crates and battery cages. Such aren’t cool for the living standards of our domesticated animals. Stuffing animals in crates can easily lead to transmission of diseases, suffocation, deaths, and injuries. Other are even thrown alive in garbage compactors, wood chippers, or drowned. In addition to that some animals such as dogs and cats are left hungry, abandoned on the streets, or left with no roof over their heads. In certain states such as California rules are changing and farmers are now compelled to give animals much space to live and lie on.

It doesn’t worth a dollar going about using animals for the sake of experiments when many of us today have resorted to using the most ideal eco-friendly products. My advice for you is simple, in order to have a fulfilling relationship with animals, report any signs of animal cruelty since they are also great pointers to domestic violence.
