Manhattan

This is a classic cocktail and is very popular. Take 2 ounces rye whiskey, half ounce vermouth (sweet), 2 or 3 dashes of angostura bitters and maraschino cherry and pour them into a mixing glass with some ice cubes. Mix them well and strain into a cocktail glass. Now, you just need to garnish with cherry and your Manhattan is ready.

Margarita

You would need to have 2 Oz Tequila, 1 or 2 lemon, 1 Oz orange liqueur, Lime Cordial and some ice cubes. Pour all the ingredients into the mixing glass. Add some ice cubes; 7 or 8 will do. Now, squeeze a whole lime inside and shake it properly. Note, this is very important here. Now, you need to strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass. You can place a lime peel on the rim or can put salt here. And thus your Margarita would be ready or you to be served.

Martinez

After Margarita I should add Martinez here- a wonderful cocktail. You need 2 Oz gin, ¾ ounce vermouth (sweet), ¼ ounce maraschino liqueur, lemon twist and dash of angostura bitters. Pour all these ingredients into a shaker- filled with ice cubes. Now, you have to stir it well and strain into a chilled glass. You can twist the lemon peel here, twist it over the mixture and drop it into that chilled glass. Your drink is now ready.

Mimosa

To make this drink which is very popular- specially, among the ladies, you need to have some orange juice and sparkling wine. You will need to fill half of your glass with cold orange juice. Tilt the glass and pour your sparkling wine into it. Now, stir it properly with a spoon or whatever you have near you. Your wonderful Mimosa is ready to enjoy.

Vodka Tonic

2 ounces vodka, tonic water, splash of lime juice and lime wedge would make you vodka tonic. Pour the vodka and lime juice into a glass. Now, pour tonic. Stir it well. Now, add the lime garnish and your vodka tonic recipe is just finished.

Brandy Cocktail
